Being an artist comes with some great opportunities to travel. Of course all the gear comes along. My projects are all individually created to have a life of thier own.
Having visited this country many years back, I was keen to return camera in hand, an item I did not have first time round. I recall being so taken back by the evident poverty but simultaneous peace the folk in Lesotho have with their lives. Hikes up and down rolling mountain sides on heavily weighed down donkeys, the high altitudes and super cold temperatures. It is a freedom not often understood, steeped in traditionalism. I chose to capture the emotions of this land through colour contrasts to get the exact feel through, and so did the entire shoot with a Canon N. This super versatile pocket lens is fully functional and has a unique customisable creative ability which includes an articulating screen.
